This is a flexible, as-needed position ideal for creators who are passionate about filming and editing high-quality social media content for a variety of brands—from hospitality to lifestyle to wellness. You’ll work closely with our team to bring each brand’s identity to life across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

About the Position

Location: Austin, TX
Type: Contract / Hourly or Project-Based

Responsibilities:

Film engaging, vertical-first content for Instagram Reels and TikTok (product shots, behind-the-scenes, interviews, etc.).
Edit videos into platform-optimized formats that reflect the client’s branding and tone.
Capture high-quality photo content when needed.
Deliver quick turnarounds on edits for time-sensitive campaigns or events.
Occasionally attend client events or shoots to capture live content.
Collaborate with 787 Social’s Account Executive and clients to align on creative direction and shot lists.
Stay up to date on social media trends to bring fresh and relevant ideas to each shoot.

What we're looking for:

Experience: Previous experience filming and editing content for social media (portfolio required).
Creative Eye: Strong visual storytelling, attention to detail, and understanding of what performs on each platform.
Software Skills: Proficiency with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
On-the-Go Flexibility: Ability to travel to various client locations in the Austin area for shoots.
Efficiency: Comfortable working under quick deadlines and delivering multiple versions as needed.
Collaborative Vibe: A team-oriented mindset and great communication skills when working with clients or internal staff.
